Bring structure, accuracy, and live excitement to your Power Wheels races with the Power Wheels Race Tracker from Northpoint Web Solutions.
This browser-based race management system is designed for Power Wheels events at fairs, festivals, community celebrations, school activities, fundraisers, youth events, and organized kids’ racing programs. Instead of trying to keep track of every racer with paper, stopwatches, or one overwhelmed scorekeeper, the Power Wheels Race Tracker lets your event staff work together from multiple phones, tablets, or computers at the same time.
One Race Admin controls the event, individual Lap Counters can be assigned to specific racers, the Announcer gets a live read-only view of the race, and spectators can follow the action through a public Live Leaderboard. The result is a simpler, more organized race-day experience for staff, racers, parents, and fans.
The system is built around live lap timing and real-time standings. Each racer can be tracked independently, helping reduce missed laps and scoring confusion. Race staff can see current positions as the event unfolds, while the announcer has updated information available for calling the race.
The Race Admin can manage the overall event, including starting, pausing, resuming, and finishing races. Racer information, race setup, lap counts, standings, and results are all kept together in one shared system instead of being scattered across paper score sheets and individual devices.
Built for Multi-Device Race Management
Power Wheels events can get busy quickly, especially when several racers are on the track at once. The Power Wheels Race Tracker is designed so multiple staff members can participate in scoring without needing specialized timing hardware.
Lap counters can use their own mobile devices to track assigned racers. The Race Admin sees the overall race, and changes are synchronized through the server so everyone is working from the same race information.
This makes the system especially useful for temporary event locations where organizers need something that is fast to deploy and easy for volunteers or race staff to understand.
Live Spectator Leaderboard
Keep parents, families, and spectators involved with a live public leaderboard.
The leaderboard is read-only, so spectators can follow current standings without gaining access to race controls. This gives your event a more professional race-day feel while keeping administrative functions protected.
The public view can be displayed on phones, tablets, laptops, televisions, or other connected displays.
Announcer Display
The dedicated Announcer view provides race information without giving the announcer control over the race.
That means the announcer can focus on calling positions, recognizing racers, and keeping the crowd informed while the Race Admin and Lap Counters handle scoring and race operations.
Accurate Lap Tracking and Corrections
Each lap can be recorded as it happens, with safeguards designed to help prevent accidental duplicate entries.
If a mistake is made, correction and undo tools give authorized race staff a way to fix the race record without having to restart the entire event.
The system also maintains lap and race information so final standings can be reviewed before results are announced.
Official Race Results
When the race is finished, the Power Wheels Race Tracker can produce organized race results for event staff.
Results can be reviewed, printed, saved, or emailed, giving organizers a much cleaner record than handwritten score sheets alone.
This can be useful for:
- Award presentations
- Posting final standings
- Event records
- Parent questions
- Sponsor recognition
- Announcer summaries
- Future event planning
Demo Mode Included
Before race day, organizers can use the built-in demo features to become familiar with the system.
The restricted Live Demo allows staff to test basic race operation without unlocking a complete real-world event. This gives organizers an opportunity to practice race setup, lap counting, standings, and device coordination before purchasing or before the official race begins.
Works on Phones, Tablets, and Computers
No traditional software installation is required.
The Power Wheels Race Tracker runs through a modern web browser and is designed to work across common phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
Compatible mobile devices can also add the system to the home screen for an app-like experience.
